Janell Koehl White went home to be with Jesus on January 24, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Janell was born in Huntsville, Texas to Ira and Nettie Koehl. Janell went to Jefferson Davis High School where she was proud to be a Carlton Cadette and carry the American Flag from 1948 - 1949. Darrell moved to Houston, Texas where he rented a room from Janell’s Aunt. Janell and Darrell fell in love and were married in 1950. They remained happily married for 70 years until Darrell went on to be with Jesus. Janell was proud to be a housewife and a mother of three. She was also quick to let you know how proud she was to be Darrell’s wife through the many years that he was a law enforcement officer. Their love stayed strong all the way to the end. Each and every night, Darrell and Nell held hands and expressed their love for each other. She cherished her time with her husband, family, and friends. She will forever be missed.
