Horacio Garza; 81 of Bedias, TX; passed away on Wednesday; June 1, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. The visitation is scheduled for Monday; June 6, 2022 from 11AM to 9PM at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday; June 7, 2022 at 10 AM at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX with the burial to follow at The Aggie Field of Honor & Memorial Cemetery in College Station, TX. Horacio was born on May 5, 1941 in Villa de Agualeguas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Manuel Garza Elizondo and Isabel Montemayor de Garza and he was retired from Brown & Root. Horacio was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Maria Guadalupe Garza de Vela, Austrebertha Garza de Rodriguez, Velia Garza de Villarreal, Catarino Garza, Juventino Garza, and Ignacio Efrain Garza. Horacio is survived by his wife, Violeta Silva Garza; his children, Isabel Garza Aranda, Maribel Garza-Pino, Horacio Garza, Jr., and Rosa Garza Vazquez; his grandchildren, Carlos Aranda, Jacquelyn Aranda, Alejandro Aranda, Juan R. Sanchez, Lorenzo R. Sanchez, Brittney B. Bellard, Zoey Garza, Arcelia Garza, Eli Garza, Ardelia Garza, Alexis Vazquez-Torres, Samantha Vazquez, Antonio Vazquez, Madelyn Salamanca, and Jazmine Salamanca; and his great grandchild, Damian Alonso Marcia. Mr. Garza is also survived by his siblings, Jose’ Maria Garza, Alberto Garza, Manuel Garza, and Juan Jesus Garza. Serving as pallbearers are: Horacio Garza, Jr., Carlos Aranda, Juan Ricardo Sanchez, Lorenzo Ramon Sanchez, Alejandro Aranda, and Antonio Vazquez.
