Frances LaJuana Cobler

DAY FUNERAL HOME Frances LaJuana (Lee) Cobler, 88 of Madisonville, TX was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, November 16, 2018 in Huntsville, TX. The family will host a viewing from 9-11am with the funeral directly following on Saturday November 24, 2018 at The North Madison Church of Christ in Madisonville, TX with Jerry Joe Cox officiating. The burial will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Madisonville, TX. Pallbearers: Phillip Cobler, Garry Cobler, Colton Cobler, Levi Cobler, Bud Rogers and Jim McKenzie. Frances was born on July 14, 1930 in Snyder, TX to Herman and Sidney (Mauldin) Lee, she married Doyle Ray Cobler in 1947 and traveled across the United States with him during his professional rodeo and horse racing career. Doyle's passing in 2013, marked 65 years of dedication and commitment to her true love, her cowboy; who we know met her at Heavens Gate, what a glorious reunion! She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ and is a devout Christian. She loved to study the bible with her Ladies Bible group and very much appreciated their love and friendship. Frances graduated from Sam Houston State University and was a long-time educator with Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle Cobler; her sister, Marie Wagner; and her brother, H.R. Lee. She is survived by her sons, Phillip Cobler and his wife Elizabeth and Garry Cobler and his wife Lynda, all of Huntsville, TX. Her grandchildren:Jodi Cobler, Shanda Morris, Jasmine Gonzales, Colton Cobler, Levi Cobler, Bud and Kayleigh Rogers, Kelly Cobler, Maddie Cobler, and Rachel Wilson; her great grandchildren: Alexis Gonzales, Priscilla Gonzales, Shayla Smith, Trey Smith, Jacob Gonzales, Cayden Cobler, Ty Rogers, Kennan Wilson and due in January, Michaela Rogers. One great great grandchild: Mykelti Brown. Also survived by her, are siblings: Charles Gonzales of Washington, Bobby Lee of Texas, and Katherine Livingston of Colorado, along with a host of neices, nephews and cousins who all loved her dearly. Her friendship and love will be missed by all, though we know she is always with us. Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
