Less Butler, 88, of Leona passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in Madisonville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Milton Gooden will officiate. Burial will be in Culton Cemetery in Leona, Texas. Less was born August 16, 1921 in Leona, Texas to Tom and Bell Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, George McCoy; son-in-laws, Lee Garrison, Nelson Sanders and Eulee Nauling; and life long companion, Rubie McCoy. Survivors include his children, Darlene Garrison, Sandra Chapel and husband, Joe, Debra Watson and husband, Ronnie, Essie Nauling, C.C. McCoy, Minnie Sanders, Kenneth Goobsly and Curtis McCoy; 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
