 Louise Wester Hurry, 94, of Madisonville passed away at her home on Monday, October 12, 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM Wednesday, October 14th at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. George Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in The Madisonville City Cemetery. The visitation is scheduled from 12-2:30 Wednesday prior to the service with the family receiving visitors from 1:30-2:30.
Louise was born September 21, 1915 in Flo to William and Minnie Pate Jones. Louise graduated from Normangee High School and worked as a registered nurse in our local hospital for many years. Louise preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Truett Wester and Travis Hurry; and her son-in-law, Datus Sharp, Jr. Louise was the last surviving child of William and Minnie. Survivors include her children Jerry Wester and LaMuriel Wester Sharp; grandchildren, Jeri Lynne and husband Red Smith of Crockett, TX, Jill and husband David Vaughan of Montgomery, TX, LeeAnn Wester Neill and husband David of Springfield, MO, Dr. William Truett Wester and wife Christine of Springfield, MO, James Wester and wife Beth of Dallas, TX, and Erin Wester Moss and husband Taylor of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Nicole Donoho, Emily Stewart, Luke Datus Vaughan, Andrew Neill, Caroline Neill, Michael Wester, Christopher Wester, William Wester, MatthewWester, Jane Wester, Sarah Wester, Avery Moss, Ellie Moss; great great grandchild Sam Donoho; nieces Jan Pigford and Jeannie Wood; special friends and caregivers, Frankie Jo Byrd, Alice Shaffer, Diane Carey and Joan Byrd; and many other family members and friends.
