Jewel Stratton, 92, of Midway passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2009.  Jewel was born April 11, 1917 in Madison County to Harrison Collier and Jennie McCaig Collier.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Stratton; son, Jessie Ferguson; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Cecil Ferguson and wife, Barbara, James Ferguson and wife, Jan, Willie Ferguson and wife, Nancy; daughter, Deane Culp; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
