Amalia Soliz, 79, of Madisonville passed away Friday, May 22, 2009. Amalia was born November 8, 1929 in Woodsboro, Texas to Cruz and MaClaudia Santos. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Benjamin Santos and Joe Santos; sister, Ofelia Avila.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Soliz of North Zulch; daughters, Lillian Roberts and husband, James of Wisconsin, Sylvia Winstead and husband, John of Virginia and Patty Brown and husband, Earl of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Garcia and husband, Philipe and Elidia Garza.
Pallbearers are John Winstead, Earl Brown, Roy Garcia, Armando Garcia, Jaime Guerra and Ezell Johnson.
