JoAnn Bates, 75, of Madisonville passed away March 1, 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Troy Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow in Blackjack Cemetery in Nacogdoches, TX. JoAnn Langford Bates was born February 21, 1934 in Black Jack, Texas to Lamar and Lorena (White) Langford. JoAnn was a LVN for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward Langford. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Austin-Rust; son, Kelly Bates and wife, Audra; sister, Helen Martin; and grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle, Kara, Tony, Kristen, Heather and Marissa.
