Uncle Wayne was a wonderful uncle. He was quiet and mild mannered. I remember seeing him a lot when we visited Granny and Grampa Peterson. He treated my mom and all of us lovingly.

I remember going to Normangee and fishing with him.

He leaves behind his loving family and I want them to know that we, too, will miss him.

Love always,

Lavada and family

In life Wayne walked on the earth knowing that God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. That whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God said that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus is the way,the truth and the life. We know on one side is sin; its reward, death; on the other side is God; He gives us by grace, life ever lasting in Christ Jesus, our Lord; Wayne loved Jesus Christ and had given his heart to him so we know he is with Jesus now, Praise God for that and Wayne loved you all and he would want you to go on in life. God said to take life as it comes and make the best out of it you can and Wayne did just that. God Bless You All , Love John

There are a lifetime of memories of my dad from times when we were camping and fishing to him running us to school or church functions. There was a trip that stays fresh in mind where we went to White Rock Creek to camp and the rains came. Actually it was more like a flood, we had to load up and hang out in the back of my dads pickup. Luckily it had a camper on it so we stayed fairly dry. Once the storms were over and it was safe we took our flat bottom boat out for a spin to check out the trout lines. All was going well until we had a slight snag when the boat motor quit working. My dad looked at me and said for me to get the paddles out, but to his surprise I had failed to put them in the boat. It is funny now, but back then, oh my he sure wasn't happy. Of course at that time neither was I because we were floating across the water over to the side where the snakes were drying out from the rain. To this day I have nightmares of the snakes in the trees and on the bank. Oh, and one other time that I recall is when we were fishing and I went to cast the brand new rod n reel and instead of casting I threw the whole reel into the water. Boy was I in trouble for that!
Love and Miss you Dad

THE WORD FROM GOD SAYS YOU ARE BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. YOU ARE MY WITNESSES ,SAYS THE LORD AND MY SERVANT WHOM I CHOSEN. THAT YOU MAY KNOW AND BELIEVE ME AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM HE, BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO GOD FORMED NOR SHALL THERE BE AFTER ME I EVEN I AM THE LORD AND BESIDES ME THERE IS NO SAVIOR. THEN THE KING WILL SAY TO THOSE ON HIS RIGHT HAND,COME YOU BLESSED OF MY FATHER,INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.AND WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.FOR WHOM HE FOREKNEW HE ALSO PREDESTINED TO BE CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON,THAT HE MIGHT BE THE FIRST BORN AMONG MANY BRETHREN.MOREOVER WHOM HE PREDESTINED THESE HE ALSO CALLED;WHOM HE CALLED,THESE HE ALSO JUSTIFIED;AND WHOM HE JUSTIFIED;THESE HE ALSO GLORIFIED.BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD,EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME.FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

Dad you will be remember by all for the blessing and fun times you gave us. You taugh me the value of hard work and completing each job 100 percent without going back to make corrections. You taught me how to measure and cut wood, steel and anything else that needs to be built. I will always remember the times sitting in the truck listening to ball games on the radio. Oh the domino games we played and so thankful you taught me the game. So each time it thunders I know you are playing with grandpa and rest of the Peterson's. The lighting olt is the score board lighting up. You are in much better place and I know you will be watching all of us. Love you Curtis and Sharen
