Ila Ghiselli, 80, of Madisonville passed away Monday, February 06, 2012.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Day Funeral Home Chapel.  Lanier Stevens will officiate.  Burial will follow in Park Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors from 5-7 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Day Funeral Home Chapel. 

Ila was born February 15, 1931 in Madisonville, Texas to Grady and Fannie (Stricklin) Farris.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Billie Farris. 

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Ghiselli; children, Patricia Jones and husband, Dan, Sid Arterburn and wife, Diann, Randy Ghiselli, Ronny Ghiselli and wife, Kathy and Janet Scott and husband, Gordon; grandchildren, Jeremy Arterburn and wife, Linsay, Brian Arterburn and Kelsey Cartwright; brother, Johnny Farris and sister, Ludeen Sweeney and husband, Harry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ila was the type of person you loved being around. Even with all her physical problems she was still full of life. I have so many great memories about her. I still can see her looking up from her paper to see who might be coming down the road to her house. She will be truely missed. Thank you for your friendship.
