Ronnie Hamburg, 65, passed away at his home in North Zulch, TX, Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Funeral services 11:00 AM, February 4 Rock Prairie Baptist Church in North Zulch. Pastor Olan Weaver officiating. Graveside services 2:00 PM, Steep Hollow Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation 5-8 PM, February 3, Day Funeral Home Chapel, Madisonville.
Ronnie was born August 15, 1946, to Richard and Eula (Dawson) Hamburg in Bryan, TX. He worked for Texas A&M University Facilities Services Division for thirty-two years. Survivors include his wife, Bonita (Gaston) Hamburg; children, Charles Hamburg, Jr., Richard Hamburg and wife, Betty, Ronnie Hamburg; step-son, James Gaston; grandchildren, Lauren Richelle Hamburg, Lindsey Rae Hamburg and husband, Chris Saldivar, Kiley Marie Gaston, Kaden James Gaston; sisters, Joyce Tate, Becky Gopffarth, Jane and husband, Don Eickenroht, Judy and husband, Paul Cass, and Wanda Lavendar; many nieces and nephews.Honorable donations to Traditions Hospice of College Station, TX, or The American Cancer Society.
