Gertie Bradford, 88, of Madisonville passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at her home.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, December 5, 2011 at Day Funeral Home Chapel.  Wade Phillips and Ray Payne will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Madisonville City Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Day Funeral Home Chapel.

  

Gertie was born November 14, 1923 in Apple Springs, Texas to Alton and Nellie (Terry) Rogers.  She was preceded in death by her husband, JB Bradford; infant daughter, Angela; her parents; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.

  

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Bradford and wife, Karen and Kenneth Bradford; daughters, Patsy Matejka and Becky Maness and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Shonda Bradford, Wade and Tonya Phillips, Brian Matejka, Amber and Mike Ferriol, Heath and Karen Bradford, Jess and Kendra Gilbert, Sean and Diane Snook, John and Erin Snook, Nathan and Cabernet Bricker, Monica and Brandon Henry, Brandon and Shauna Maness, and Kaitlan Maness;  great grandchildren, Shon, Brandon, Anthony, Nick, Kaleb, Natalie, Mya, Reygan, Lindy, Lacey, Cheyanne, Zak, Brett, Jace, Preston, Kaden, Riley, Hunter, Aden, and Nico; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Pallbearers are John Snook, Sean Snook, Anthony Davalos, Brian Matejka, Heath Bradford, Nathan Bricker; Honorary pallbearers are Nick Phillips, Kaleb Matejka, Zack Snook, Brett Snook, Jace Snook, Preston Snook, Kaden Bricker, George Robert Gannaway, Sonny Dean, Gay McLain, Doug Holland, J.C. Bryan, Buddy Sloan, Randy Morgan, Phillip Morgan, Paul Bailey, and Al Sanders.
