I am so sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful man. I can't ever remember him raising his voice to anyone and he loved his family. I spent a lot of time as a young girl growing up at there house in Pasadena as Peggy and I were best friends. He was our drill team leader in the Pasadena Youth Riding Club and spent many hours helping us to be the best we could be. There are so many memories and I could go on and on. Love to all, Debra

I first met Wayne about 1995 when we bought our place and considered moving to Madisonville. I met him at the First Baptist Church where he was always present if possible. I always looked forward to our short visits on Sunday morning as he always made a person feel confortable in his presence and always had a postive outlook and a kind word for everyone with whom he had contact. As the years passed and his health failed he continued to have a positive outlook and was out as much as possible doing something around the place. He allowed me to work with him to harvest his hay crop which helped me considerably as I always needed hay to feed my old hides during the winter. I learned of Wayne's passing on Sunday Nov 13th and was unable to attend the service as I had Commissioners Court Monday Nov 14th starting at 9:30AM.Barbara and I have your family in our prayers and sincerly pray thast God will fill the void left by Wayne with his goodness and love during this time of sorrow. If I can assist you in any waay please let me know.
