Joshua Jarvis, 33, of Houston passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011.  A memorial is scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2011 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville.  Richard Bernhard will officiate. 

Joshua was born December 28, 1977 in Houston, Texas to Travis Burrell Jarvis and Betty Joann (Cox) Irwin.  Joshua graduated from Taylor High School in Katy in 1997.  He loved motorcycle riding, UFC fighting and he was known most for his love of music.  His daughter was the light of his life; Cheyenne and Joshua motivated each other!  He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. 

Survivors include his wife, Lacey (Moffett) Jarvis; daughter, Cheyenne Jarvis; mother, Betty Irwin; sisters, Shanna Clark and husband, Clayton, Catherine Glaze and husband, Robert and Bonnie Wilburn; brothers, Phillip Mueller, Jonathon Mueller and wife, Sher and Brian Mueller; grandmother, Vada (Maddox) Jarvis; and best friends, Brian Wade, Sam Crecelius, Justin McFatridge and Scott Burton. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Spinal Cord Injury Research.  The family will have a reception following the memorial at Betty’s home (Joshua’s mother).

I may have not known you very long, but I knew you long enough to know you were a very caring person. You always loved to make people laugh. I truly believe you were and are an angel sent down to make this world a better place. may you RIP....
