Ruth Trichel, 95, of Midway passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in Madisonville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2011 at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Troy Brooks will officiate. A private family burial will follow at Madisonville City Cemetery. Ruth was born on January 20, 1916 in Lone Pine, ARK to Columbus Dewey and Nellie Mooney Brazell. She was married to John Jordan Trichel, Jr and they spent many years together in Livingston before relocating to Midway in the mid 1960’s. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her three brothers. She is survived by her son, Bill Jordan Trichel and his wife Lynda of Midway; her daughter, Sara Anne Trichel Williams of Midway; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
