Janie "Madole" Standley, 95, of Madisonville; passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Carrollton, TX.  A celebration of Ms. Janie's life is scheduled for 10 am on Wednesday, August 3rd at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville with the burial following in Oxford Cemetery which is across the street from Ms. Janie's "old homeplace".  A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 5-7 pm at Day Funeral Home Chapel.  Retired General Hiram Lee Jones will officiate. 
 Ms. Janie was born September 30, 1915 in the Cottonwood Community to Amos Daniel and Bertha 'Strawther' Madole.  She married P.M. Standley in June of 1933 and they were married for over seventy years until his death in 2004.
Ms. Janie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Lee Madole, Wade Madole and Melvin Madole; and her sisters, Ivy Payne and Grace Standley. 
Ms. Janie is servived by her son Kenneth Standley and his wife Renee and her daughter Judith Ann Standley.
She is also servived by her grandchildren, Adam Standley, Jason Standley and his wife Shannon, Jordan Standley, Kelly Hite Raj, and Dustin Hite and his wife Sarah.  Great-grandchildren are Addison Standley, Lorin Standley, Aaron Standley, Preston Standley, Dylan Raj, Kartik Raj, Rishi Raj, Juniper Hite and Aidan Hite.
Serving as pallbearers are: Jeff Farris, Jr., Danny Madiole, Duane Standley, Jim Standley, Fred Henson and Alex Cannon.
