Jim Lenox, 71 of North Zulch, passed away July 3, 2011. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday; July 6th at Allphin Cemetery in the Elwood Community.

Many in our community knew Mr. Lenox as the caretaker for Allphin, Hopewell, and Willowhole Cemeteries.

Mr. Lenox was born March 1, 1940 in Groesbeck to James and Mary (Emert) Lenox and was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Ann "Calhoun" Lenox; his son, Ronald Lenox; sisters, Kate and Ruth; and brothers, Edwin and Olgie.

Mr. Lenox is survived by his daughters, Mary, Diane, and April; his sons, James, Jim Jr, and Edwin; 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; his sisters, Peggy and Pauline; and his loving companion, Lori Hare.
