 John Wiley White, 65, of Bedias, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 28th at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in
Bedias Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Dan Peters will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 11 to 2 PM Monday at Day Funeral Home Chapel prior to the funeral. John was born August 23, 1945 in Gatesville, TX to William and Norma (Remington) White. John was a supervisor for Drake Container Company, was an avid country and western singer, a gun collector, and was willing to trade just about anything with the exception of Margaret, his wife of forty-seven years. John was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jerry White and Junior White. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; his children, Larry White of Bedias, Sheila White Szeman and husband Dave of Willis, and John White and wife Myra of Deer Park; grandsons, Kenneth Dossey, Kristopher Dossey, Jacob Little, Joshua Little, Tyler White, and Turner White; great grandchildren, Kenneth James Dossey, Jr. and Ayden John White; brother, James White; sisters, Helen White and Judy Demny; sister in law, Joyce Amick; niece, Stacy Chandler and husband Jason; and special friends, Kathy Little, Robert and Barbara Moore, Ruhi Komec, Jim Lavine, and Jimmy Moore. Serving as pallbearers are John’s grandsons.
