Donald Hogue, 69, of Iola passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 in Bryan.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Iola Missionary Baptist Church in Iola.  Bro. Doug Jones will officiate.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. 

Donald was born March 4, 1941 in Houston, Texas to John Neal and Linnie (Fulton) Hogue and was preceded in death by his parents. Donald spent his life taking care of the family farm, and for many years, volunteered his services maintaining Concord Cemetery. 

Survivors include his brother, Harold Hogue and wife, Sheryl; sister, Juanita Watson; nieces, Rachel Scholz and Mindy Baldauf; nephew, Neal Hogue; great nieces, Amber Kennedy, April Allphin, and Danielle Baldauf; great nephews, Dalton Baldauf and Curtis Franklin; adoptive daughter and faithful caregiver for ten and half year,  Christina Doss; and adoptive granddaughter, Hannah Doss. 

Pallbearers are Donny Brock, Tommy McDougal, Roger Doss, Daryl Allphin, Patrick Baldauf and Kenny Scholz.
