Edith Mae (Yeager) Denman

 Edith Mae (Yeager) Denman Edith Mae (Yeager) Denman, 80, passed away at her home in North Zulch on December 23, 2010.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11AM on Tuesday; December 28th at Willowhole Chapel with burial immediately following at Willowhole Cemetery.  Bro. Don Semonski will officiate. A  visitation is scheduled for Monday; December 27th from 5 – 7PM at Day Funeral Home Chapel.    Edith was born February 12, 1930 in her parent’s home in Iola.  She worked for many years at the Goodrum Nursing Home (now known as Madisonville Care Center) and for Allee Clothing Company.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she and her husband were instrumental in the construction of the building.  

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Breece and Myra Ann (Beckham) Yeager; her husband, Robert “Ode” Denman; her son, Jimmy Denman; her brothers, E.F. Yeager and James Yeager; and her sister, Bena Byars.  Survivors include her sisters, Lorena Reinhardt, Alice Isbell, Dorothy “Dot” Conner and her husband Lee, and Rheba Bruge; her daughter in law, Edith Denman; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are:  Amin Rosado, Bobby Denman, Patrick Roberts, Sam Cole, Kenneth Conner, and Tommy Conner.  Please visit www.dayfuneralhome.net to leave a fond memory or message of sympathy for the family.
