Ross Garrett was a true "Professional" in every sense. In his career as County Agent in Madison County,he earned the respect of all who knew him because of his dedication and hard work for many years serving the youth and adults of the community. "Mr. Garrett", as we knew him was also dedicated in service to his family, Church, and many organizations in which he had a leadership role. The World is truly a better place because of "MR. Garrett's" service to our country, our State, and the people of Madison County. We will all miss him and wish to express our deepest sympathy to the entire "Garrett Family" in their loss.
Respectfully,
Colvin Walker

Mr. Garrett certainly played a huge role in my years as a 4-H Club member. He delighted in having me as a state winner in the 4-H Food Show in 1971!! At the time we did not have a "Home Demonstration" Agent and he was extremely proud of beating the counties that did(in foods and nutrition of all things)!! I have lots of good memories that include Mr. Garrett. My best to all of the family.
Gentle blessings,

Ross Garrett loved people and because of that people loved Ross Garrett. As a young County Agent I saw in him all the things I knew I should try to emulate. Many times I called Ross to solicit his opinion or simply to listen to his sound advice. Ross leaves behind a legend of service and an example for all to follow.
