Tommy Dommert, 78, formerly of Centerville, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Madisonville. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, December 3, 2010 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Joe Gray will officiate. Tommy was born March 3, 1932 in Orange, Texas to William and Estelle Sallie (Richie) Dommert. He served his county proudly during the Korean War and was honorably discharged from The United States Air Force with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Upon leaving the US Air Force, he lived in Houston where he worked in the family grocery business. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, R.A. Dommert and Junior Dommert; and his sister, Irene Hoffpauir.
Survivors include his son Mark Dommert and his wife Paula; grandsons, Tommy Charles Dommert, Tony Austin Dommert, and Terry Mark Dommert; and brothers, Ralph Richie and Roy Richie
