Tommie Crump, 69, of Madisonville passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Bryan.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, July 30, 2010 at Day Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Jim Brazzil will officiate.  Burial will follow at 3:00 PM in Caledonia Cemetery in Garrison, Texas with Jimmy Crump officiating. 

Tommie was born December 20, 1940 in Clarksville, Texas to Tom Ferguson Crump and Nannie Ola (Pullen) Crump and was preceded in death by his parents.  Tommie served his county as a member of The United States Marine Corps and had a career in the mortgage lending business in The Greater Houston Area until his retirement to the “Cottonwood Community” west of Madisonville. 

Survivors include his wife, Diane (Springer) Crump of Madisonville; children, Gary Crump and wife Julie of Kingwood, Jason Crump and wife Tina of Spring, and Lorena Crump of Houston; grandchildren, Tyler Crump, Garrett Crump, Joshua Crump, Olivia Crump, Hayden Crump, Ashton Garcia, Ethan Koester, and Jeremy Koester; and Gary and Jason’s mother, Marilyn Paperman.

Tom sold me some land on 39 several years ago and we became good friends He will be missed. God bless his family. Chubby Gilbert San Miguel de Allende Mexico
