King Kennon Cole, 67, of Madisonville passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, June 6, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Madisonville.  Troy Brooks will officiate. 

King was born January 10, 1943 in Madisonville to Alonzo Daniel “Buck” and Maibel (Fannin) Cole.King graduated from Madisonville High School in 1961 and later graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture.He was the owner/operator of King K. Cole, Incorporated and a rancher and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dr. Ralph Cole. Survivors include his wife, Judy (Chandler) Cole; his stepson, Jeffrey Fleming and wife, Jane-Ann of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Chandler Fleming and Sarah Catherine Fleming of Spring, TX; a niece, Janna Green and husband, Jon Green of Denton, TX; nephew, Craig Cole of San Jose, CA; and great nieces, Madison Green and Ella Green of Denton, TX. 

Serving as pallbearers are Jeb Blair, Craig Stover, Dave Ward, W.R. Hensarling, Alex Cannon, Bill Cannon, Dale Hurst and Brent Viator. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church scholarship fund.
