Jessie Dee "Ma" Hall Ferguson, 83, previously of Madisonville passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Tomball.  Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, June 4, 2010 at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas.

Ma Ferguson was born September 29, 1926 in Madisonville to Jeff Davis Hall and Minervia Lucille Horton Hall.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wilfred Riley "Buddy" Ferguson, her son, Willis Ray Ferguson, her parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivor include her children, James R. "Sonny" Ferguson and Rose, Peggy and Gary Burke, Shirley and David Foster, Jonathon Ferguson and Mary, Randy and Kinda Ferguson, and Glenda and Dalton Northup; 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Ma,
As I sit here start to remember words you would say to me. One thing we both had in common was losing our husband we loved. You gave me such strength. One of the things you would say is you wanted to ride. Well Ma you’re riding now! I know you loved Autra and cared for him very much. Know Autra is taking you ALL over the place now. I am very sad to hear about the loss of Aunt Sis. I was very young the last time I remember seeing her, but I do remember her as always having the best sense of humor and I remember her very distinctive, infectious laugh. Every one of us were blessed to have known her and we will have many fond memories to carry us through. We will miss you Aunt Sis.
